friends, folks from work, or come alone and meet a kindred
spirit who likes to paint.
Get organized and bring a picnic to share with your friends,
or get some food from Gibbey's Restaurant which is right
next door.

This is as much fun as team-building
should be - keep your clothes on and paint your heart out.
Bring your own team-building refreshments and have fun.
The most surprising thing about a Clay Café corporate
event is that men have the best time. They get to amaze
themselves with their wonderful painting skills. (After
years of being relegated to painting the bathroom, now they
can really express their feelings - bring Kleenex.)
Showers:
Shower your favorite
girlfriend with gifts you and her friends have painted.
(What better revenge for having to wear that bridesmaids
dress that is so versatile you can use it for so many other
events in your life.) No, really, it is fun, and gifts will
look great too. Let the bride pick out all the colors, and
then everything goes together. One way to keep your Clay
Café shower event pregnant with meaning and looking
great too is to decorate items for the bride for a specific
purpose, i.e., dessert plates with the bride's most embarrassing
moments, or demitasse cups with all her old boyfriends painted
as little teeny men in the bottom of each cup in colors
to match her new kitchen.
Paint
Free Days for Adults
This evening allows
you to throw yourself with abandon into that Clay Café
special item you always thought was too expensive for someone
with your as yet untapped ability to paint. Sometimes when
you don't have to worry about all the costs, your personal
creativity starts flowing. This is the evening to sharpen
your skills. Then you might go on to paint a birthday present
for your mother-in-law, or volunteer to paint your boss's
farewell gift from everyone in the office.
